January 26, 2012: An outstanding booklet is offered online by Michael McFadden, titled "The Lies Behind The Smoking Bans!" http://kuneman.smokersclub.com/PASAN/StilettoGenv5h.pdf Michael has continually proven he is a great friend of freedom and honesty. All logic and reasoned thought, no dogma. We're lucky to know him. Our thanks to Thomas Laprade for the heads up. Thanks, Tom.
GREAT NEWS! January 20, 2012: Augusta, Georgia commissioners debate over whether to enact and enforce further tyranny. In America. However, Mayor Pro Tem Joe Bowles and commissioner Wayne Guilfoyle stood up to the anti-freedom, no-smoke zealots. It's happening more often: City, County, and State officials questioning the motives and sanity of people who demand smoking be outlawed in bars they wouldn't go to if they lived to be 100 years old. Kudo's to Joe Bowles & Wayne Guilfoyle: Keep it up. (Millions of) Freedom-loving Americans all across the United States are proud of you. Stand your ground. Don't back down. You're not alone. You never will be. See more on our "News-Making Progress" page.
GREAT NEWS! January 18, 2012: Per an article on the webiste of Vermont Public Radio, Burlington mayor Bob Kiss vetoed a plan to outlaw a bit more of freedom and liberty in Burlington - that being a proposal to outlaw smoking almost anywhere in downtown Burlington. The usual boring, no-smoke, anti-freedom slobs with their fraudulent science and dogma were at the meeting to protest. But that's nothing new, is it? The anti-freedom drama queens are everywhere.
To Mayor Bob Kiss & council member Emma Mulvaney-Stanak who voted against the proposal: Freedom-loving American all across the United States are proud of you. Don't back down. You're actions haven't gone without notice. You're true patriots. See more on our "News-Making Progress" page. Thanks to Thomas Laprade out of Canada for the heads up on this matter.
January 15, 2012: Indiana's RINO governor, Mitch Daniels, wants a bit more of freedom outlawed and authoritarian rule installed and enforced in Indiana prior to the 2012 Super Bowl. In other words, he's calling for a statewide smoking ban made law in Indiana. In an article on www.nacsonline.com Daniels said, "I think the time for a statewide smoking ban has come. I think that evidence has grown."
What he's saying is, "The time has come to outlaw a bit more of freedom and enforce tyranny upon the citizens of Indiana. I don't care if you like it or not. I'm the governor, you will obey me." We find his comments reprehensible. What Daniels doesn't say, of course, is that instead of supporting freedom and individual rights he's chosen to bow down to the anti-freedom thugs at the American Cancer Society.
Daniels appears a coward who would inflict tyranny upon an entire populace rather than having the dignity stand up for freedom. See more of Daniels on our "Hall of Shame-Zealots" page.
January 14, 2012: What did we learn in 2011 about the anti-freedom, no-smoke zealots? Nothing new. They haven't changed. If you were to open a bar, or any other business that they wouldn't go to if they lived to be 100, they still want you punished if you should have the audacity to allow smoking in a business you used your own money to open. They demand you be fined, or your business shut down, or business owners being eventually jailed for allowing...ohhhhh, horrrrrors...smoooooking. In America.
It's discouraging, isn't it? That's how they want you to feel. They want you to give up. Like the leaders of China and North Korea, the no-smoke authoritarians want you to feel that honest science is dead and authoritarian rule in the United States is inevitable. That's the way they work. But hold on, they've forgotten one thing: Americans have given their very lives for freedom. They've given their daughters and sons, their fathers and mothers, so that we might live free. Amercians don't forget or give up easily. If ever, in the defense of freedom.
Here's the good news: "Science" put forth by the no-smoke zealots has been proven not true. Elected officials and state employees have been found to have put forth fraudulent findings. The zealots are being called out and they're facing increasing resistance. People are becoming more angry with them. Even more than before. More people are seeing that the no-smoke slobs manifest a disrespect for the rule of law. Judges have shot down proposed smoking bans. Citizens of every stripe, smokers an non-smokers alike, are calling out the no-smoke slobs for what they are. That being, anti-freedom, authoritarian slobs. That's a good thing.
January 9, 2012: We received an email today from "J." He or she forwarded us a link to Opponents of Ohio Bans. It's a great website concerning the anti-freedom, authoritarian smoking bans in Ohio. Here's the link: http://opponentsofohiobans.com/default.aspx Take a look.
GREAT NEWS! November 7, 2011: YES! In a ruling for common sense and freedom and liberty in the United States, a judge has blocked the no-smoke thugs from forcing cigarette makers to display graphic and obscene images on cigarette packages. U.S. District Judge Richard Leon found the nine graphic images approved by the Food and Drug Administration in June to go beyond conveying the facts about the health risks of smoking or go beyond that into advocacy - a critical distinction in a case over free speech.
This is great news. Thuggery, in this regard, on the part of the no-smoke zealots has been stopped. See more on our "News-Making Progress" page.
GREAT NEWS out of Kentucky! September 19, 2011: Freedom is on a roll in Bullitt County, Kentucky! Per published reports, a proposed anti-freedom smoking ban in Bullitt County was struck down 4 days before it was scheduled to go into effect. Judge Rodney Burress said the county health department’s proposed smoking ban is unlawful, implying the department’s decision to enact the ban was Orwellian. Judge Rodney Burress writes in his ruling if the health department can decide who smokes where, it could also decide what time individuals could go to bed.
This is great, great news! To Judge Rodney Burress, and to the organizers of www.BullittCountyChoice.com who organized the opposition: THANK YOU! Freedom-loving citizens and those with common sense across the USA are proud of you! And kudos to Thomas Laprade who gave us the heads up on this story. See More on our "News-Making Progress" page.
GREAT NEWS: September 19, 2o11: Have you any doubt remaining that the no-smoke thugs in the USA are out of control? Or that they want to confiscate more freedom from one group of people and hand it over to those who agree with them? Do you have any remaining doubt that the no-smoke zealots are nothing more than authoritarian slobs addicted to the drama of their almighty Cause? Read on:
Per published reports, U.S. Department of Transportaion Secretary Ray LaHood wants to outlaw water vapor (electronic cigarettes) in airports in the USA and on airplanes coming into and out of the USA. Because water vapor looks like....ooooh, horrrrrors....smo00oooooking.
In other words, Ray LaHood wants people punished for even acting like they're smoking cigarettes. In America.
So, why is this good news? Because in all of human history, tyrants always end up being their own worst enemy. Americans are seeing the arrogance and the audacaity of not-elected offficials like Ray LaHood attempting to further enforce tyranny and an authoritarian agenda upon freedom-loving citizens who just want to be left alone. The intent and tactics of the anti-freedom, no-smoke slobs are in full view now. Americans have seen that the no-smoke zealotry in the United States has nothing to do with protecting citizens. It never did. And citizens - smokers and non smokers alike - are standing up, and they're fighting back. They're mad. They're saying, "You've gone too far. You're out of control. You've lost perspective. You're outlawing common sense and freedom in the United States, and we're not going to take it anymore. Go away."
See our "New-Making Progress" page for more information.
GREAT NEWS out of Ohio! September 9, 2011: This is just too sweet. We received an email detailing how a no-smoke thug by the name of Dr. Theodore E. Wymyslo (Director, Ohio Department of Public Health) and his anti-freedom partner Elizabeth Klein (associate professor at Ohio State University), have been shown to omit data from a report in an effort to push forth fraudulent research regarding the smoking ban in Ohio.
Sad to say, it’s not surprising. They're both anti-freedom thugs hell-bent on outlawing a bit more of common sense and liberty in the USA. We called out Elizabeth Klein on her slanted research nearly two years ago on our “Hall of Shame-Zealots” page. It's still there.
Per the email, here’s what has been discovered:
1) They state that businesses have not lost significant income due to the anti-freedom smoking ban being enacted in Ohio. Their figures have been proven to be not true and inserted in the report to show a false, and desired, outcome.
2) They've stated the % of heart attack discharges at hospitals went down after the smoking ban was enacted in Ohio. Their figures have been proven to be not true and inserted in the report to show a false, and desired, outcome.
3) They've been shown to lie about the percentage of people who disapprove of the smoking ban in Ohio; meaning, more people disapprove of smoking bans than those who approve.
Now get this, the sweetness keeps on coming: A Dr. Michael Siegel, Professor in the Department of Community Health Sciences, Boston University School of Public Health, cited the statistics put forth by Dr. Theodore E. Wymyslo and Elizabeth Klein to be be dishonest. Siegel's conclusion, in his own words? "This report has manipulated the analysis in order to try to show an effect that is simply not present in the data." And Dr. Siegel is not a pro-smoking kind of guy. He has 25 years of experience in the field of tobacco control.
And it keeps getting better: Wymyslo and Klein are state employees. People are demanding Governor Kasich commence an investigation. See more on our "News-Making Progress" page.
August 21, 2011: We received an email a month or two ago from a guy in Wisconsin who said he owns a bar. He said he's on our side. He said his income went down as soon as the anti-freedom smoking ban was enacted in his state. He also suggested we might (or should, we can't remember) tone down our rhetoric. In our reply, we said that suggesting folks tone down their rhetoric is a favorite tactic of leftists and the no-smoke zealots in the United States. They try to marginalize and cast shame upon people who call them out for what they are. They don't want people to realize what they are - that being anti-freedom, authoritarian thugs - until it's too late and their agenda has come to fruition. We must admit it's a brilliant strategy, even if it's dishonest and repugnant. Hitler and Stalin used the same.
So the short answer is that we don't plan on toning down our rhetoric. The longer answer and our thinking on this matter has been put up on our "Disproving Zealots Lies" page. The best and most content societies are born out of freedom. The best thinking, the best writing, the best music, the best science and technology all originate from freedom. It's worth fighting for. Smoking ban advocates are anti-freedom. They're disgusting.
August 19, 2011; Aside: It's not fun doing this, updating this website and calling people out. We don't like it. It's a pain. It's not good when people are divided. We don't like being angry, nor do we have a need to be paid attention to. We don't get off on drama. Never have. That's not what this website is about. We want the no-smoke zealots to leave people alone and stay out of other peoples lives. Period. Seems a simple request, right? When that happens, this website will go down. We only want common sense and freedom to prevail once again in the United States. So until the no-smoke zealots get a grip and regain a sense of composure and perspective, we don't intend to stop. Because they don't stop, even at the expense of freedom and liberty. Smoking ban advocates demand submission to tyranny in the USA, and hence they manifest a disrespect for the rule of law. That's bad for all of us. But they couldn't care less. Because they're addicted to drama. They're anti-freedom. We resent having to take the time to keep this site updated. We wish it wasn't needed. But that's where we find ourselves today. In America.
August 4, 2011: 31 Troops, 20+ of them being members of SEAL TEAM 6 who went in and killed the piece of sewage who planned 9/11, were shot down and died today. May God be with their souls and give them peace for all eternity. May God watch over their families and their friends.
Great News out of Nevada: JUNE 17, 2011: YES! FREEDOM IS ON A ROLL. ALREADY SOFT SMOKING BAN FURTHER SOFTENED: To the tavern owners who lobbied for it, Debbie Smith, a representative in the Nevada House of Represntatives who put her political butt on the line and pushed it through, and Governor Brian Sandoval, and all others in the Nevada legislature who voted for freedom: All fredom-loving Americans are proud of you. See our "News-Making Progress" page.

They gave all for freedom, not tyranny.
Great News out of Louisiana: June 9, 2011: The Lousiana legislature, once again, has beaten down an attempt by the no-smoke zealots who wanted to outlaw a bit more of freedom in Louisiana. There's a disturbing aside there. See our "News-Making Progress" page. To all the Louisianans who voted in favor of freedom: All freedom-loving Americans in the United States are proud of you. And our thanks to Sheila from Kansas who gave us the heads up on this.
GREAT NEWS! April, 2011: Illinois House of Representatives votes to repeal smoking bans in the state's casinos on a 62-52 vote and the bill now moves to the Illinois Senate. WAY TO GO ILLINOIS! KUDOS TO THE 62 ILLINOIS STATE REPRESENTATIVES WHO VOTED FOR FREEDOM! Per published reports, the bill was sponsored by representative Dan Burke. Kudos to him. There were the usual protestations against lifting the ban by the always-present, anti-freedom slobs. See our News-Making Progress page for more info.
GREAT NEWS! February 16, 2011: SMOKING BAN REPEALED IN CAMPBELL COUNTY, KENTUCKY. OUR KUDOS to commissioners Ken Rechtin, Brian Painter, and Pete Garrett who voted to repeal the ban. You've proved that freedom and common sense are still alive in America. All freedom loving Americans are proud of you. More about this on our "News-Making Progress" page.
GREAT NEWS! October 6, 2010: On a 4-3 vote by the York County (South Carolina) Council, their smoking ban was amended to allow smoking in private, non-for-profit clubs. It's a start. And that's a few steps further than yesterday, right? Way to go, York County. You've proved freedom and common sense are still alive in America. Freedom-loving Americans are proud of you.
GREAT NEWS! September 23, 2010: Freedom has made a comeback in Galveston, Texas. The Galveston, Texas city council has REPEALED SMOKING BANS in bars. See our News-Making Progress page. Kudos to Galveston city council members Steve Greenburg, Dianna Puccettie, Chris Gonzalez, and Rusty Legg. Way to go! You've proved freedom and common sense are still alive in America. Freedom-loving Americans are proud of you. And to Michael McFadden, author, www.antibrains.com for the heads up.
February, 2009 Our Original Posting on www.RepealSmokingBans.com:
This site has been brought up in an effort to begin the process of seeing smoking bans repealed. We're making progress.
Advocates of smoking bans are being met with determined and increased opposition. Smokers and non-smokers alike have begun to realize
this is an issue of individual rights & sovereignty & ownership. Business owners are increasingly not obeying no-smoke ordinances.
We are all in need of camaraderie in these trying times. Citizens of countries are becoming more polarized in their beliefs. They're drawing
metaphorical lines and refusing to move off them. Smoking bans do nothing but further divide peoples and manifest a disrespect for the rule of law. That's bad for all of us.
And, believe it or not, that's OK with the no-smoke zealots. They've lost perspective. They're out of control.
They're the new nazi's. And like the nazi's in 1930's and 1940's Germany, the no-smoke slobs demand you buy into their drama and their lies and give up your liberties. Whether you want to or not.
And if you don't? They demand you be fined, or put out of business, or eventually jailed - or even be put out of your home - until you submit.
In America. For oooooooooh, smooooooking! That's how far and obscene the no-smoke thugs have taken the issue.
Don't like smoke?
Then don't patronize businesses where smoking is allowed. Simple deal. We'll gladly respect your request(s) to not smoke in your businesses if you prefer. Your businesses, your money invested into them, your livelihoods, your rules. No problem.
Live and let live. In peace. In freedom. Allow others to do the same. Easy solution, right?
Not for the no-smoke zealots. Because none of what they're doing involves honesty, liberty, logic, or reason. It's all about drama and lies to see their authoritarian agenda enacted. And they couldn't care less if you agree with them or not. They demand you give up your freedom and submit to tyranny and obey. Or be punished. In America.
Smoking bans and clean air acts have nothing to do with protecting individuals and the collective health of a populace.
They never did. Like drug addicts who inject drugs into their veins to feel a false sense of drama and enlightenment, the no-smoke thugs are addicted to the false sense of drama injected into their lives via fighting for their "Cause," be the cause morally right or wrong.
They're so separated from common sense, they're so disenchanted with the concept of freedom and living and letting live, that they can't leave people alone. With the zealots, it's all about themselves - freedom and civil liberties, be damned - and seeing entire citizenries submitting to them and authoritarian rule.
Sound familiar?
Like all storm troopers (cowards) who so desperately need to feel a sense of importance in their lives, the no-smoke slobs have found others like themselves. They pretend to not be ashamed nor embarrassed by their actions. They shield themselves from their shame via marching in lock step with their other nazi pals. That's what cowards and thugs do.
Why? Because they're cry babies. They've low self-esteem. They lack in self-respect. Hence, they've an unhealthy need to not only to be paid attention to, they also have an unhealthy need for people to obey(!) them. Unfortunately for freedom-loving peoples, the zealots are now grown-up cry babies who have weaseled themselves into government and found ways to enact un-American, anti-freedom ordinances.

See Our "Hall of Shame-Zealots" page:
See a small sampling of some of the new authoritarian thugs here in the USA on our 'Hall of Shame-Zealots' page. A good example is Tom Miller, Iowa's Attorney General. He shut down a Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) post because people inside who served in our military and volunteered for potential death in defense of our freedoms were, oh, perhaps dealing drugs, or running an illegal gambling operation?
Nope. For oooooooooh, horrors! Smoooooooooking.
A VFW post. Absolutely disgusting. Miller - the top law enforcement officer of the state of Iowa - manifests a disrespect for the rule of law. That's bad for all of us.

They fought and gave all for freedom. Not tyranny.
Those brave souls in the picture above? They gave all so that their loved ones might live free. So that we might live free. So that they too might have lived free had they been lucky enough to return home alive from the Delaware River on Christmas Day, and Gettysburg, and the battlefields of Asia, the Middle East, Europe and the Pacific, et al.
Tom Miller and his thugs have metaphorically spit on their graves. Over the top? Not at all. Miller demands tyranny and authoritarian rule be enforced upon the citizens of Iowa. In America. Freedom and liberty, be damned.
Smoking bans. They don't sound like what should be occurring in any free country or society, do they?
Sadly, it's where we find ourselves today.
Remember this while you go peruse this website: It is not the intent of the no-smoke zealots to speak with honesty, nor to exhibit a sense of fair play, nor to speak with truth or to form their thoughts in a logical manner. It never has been. They purposely put forth deceit with their
assertions. That's what zealots do. They lie.
There is good news to be seen. The no-smoke gangs are now seeing citizenries turning against them, and the zealots are becoming more
desperate and pathetic in their assertions and their demands.
Item: Jennifer Stalley, a representative with the leftists at the American Cancer Society (imagine that) in South Dakota, went as far to say in November of 2009 that smoking is a "national emergency." We're serious. Hard to believe, isn't it? Not really, considering the source. Google Jennifer Stalley South Dakota Smoking Emergency. She's a zealot who not only wants control of her own life, she wants control over your's also. She's anti-freedom. She demands submission to tyranny. Because it makes her feel good. We find Jennifer Stalley to be an un-American, anti-freedom slob. We find her actions disgusting. She couldn't care less of those who gave all for freedom.
Item: Maureen Busalacchi, and her minions at Smoke Free Wisconsin, aren't satisfied that they've metaphorically spit in the face of
freedom-loving peoples and that smoking in bars and restaurants was outlawed in Wisconsin on July 5, 2010 <-- 1 day after Americans
have celebrated freedom for over 230 years. She now wants smoking outlawed on the porches outside of the bars and restaurants. We're serious. Google Maureen Busalacchi Smoke-Free Wisconsin. She is a zealot slob who demands your submission. Freedom and civil liberties, be damned. The woman is out of control. She's lost perspective. We find Maureen Busalacchi to be an un-American, anti-freedom slob. We find her actions disgusting. She couldn't care less of those who gave all for freedom.
Item: Dr. Brent Sherard. An indoctrination organization and website, www.WeDrawTheLine.com , with the help of the Wyoming Department of Health, is stating on its website that "2/3's of your neighbors support a ban on smoking." They are also saying "bartenders are 50% more likely to get cancer because of secondhand smoke." Their statements are lies. And it's not surprising because that's what zealots do. They lie. The Wyoming Department of Health, currently headed up by Sherard (January, 2010), is using taxpayer money to try and convince taxpayers that 2/3's of Americans support tyranny. That's what they're doing. Fascism. In America. We find Brent Sherard to be an un-American, anti-freedom slob. We find his actions disgusting. He couldn't care less about those who gave all for freedom.
Heil, Hitler!
Adolph Hitler was fervently against smoking. See a piece by Jeremy Richards, dated August, 2008. It details the fallacy and idiocy of no-smoke
laws. It calls out the holier-than-thou crowd and the "We know what's better for you than you do, therefore you will obey us" thugs who have implemented smoking bans now and in the past.
