Smoking Ban Advocates Are A Cancer Upon Freedom & Liberty.

What we'll do here is call out the no-smoke thugs in the USA.

Smoking ban advocates are a cancer upon common sense, freedom, honest science and our liberties.

Rather than living and letting live in a peaceful way, the individuals listed on this page demand an unequal distribution of freedom and liberty. Not for the good of all, but according to their beliefs. They demand you submit to drama, lies, and tyranny or be punished. For smoking. In America. We find their actions disgusting.

They want to confiscate freedom and property ownership rights from a group of people they don't like and hand them over to people they do like. Common sense and honest science, be damned. Their actions are not dissimilar from tyrants.

They manifest a disrespect for the rule of law. That's bad for all of us. But they don't care. They're dangerous, they're out of control and they've lost perspective. Their actions are appalling.

Don't kid yourselves. The no-smoke slobs want smoking outlawed. Period. Your desires to live free are insignificant little annoyances with them that should be marginalized and legislated out of existence.

Should the people shown below change their tunes then we'll take down their profiles. No problem.

This website
is about seeing freedom and liberty and common sense restored, and then getting on and living out our lives in a peaceful manner. It's not about keeping the drama going. We're about not backing down from the out-of-control zealots who demand your submission to authoritarian rule in the United States via financial and legal intimidation.

There is good news to be seen. Some smoking bans are being amended and repealed. The no-smoke zealots are seeing citizenries turning against them. The zealots have become more absurd and desperate in their assertions. Citizens are willfully engaging in civil disobedience. Business owners are ignoring smoking bans and standing up to the no-smoke thugs.

If you find our terms describing the individuals listed on this page as being too harsh, see our "Good Govt-Bad Govt." and "Tone Done The Rhetoric" pages.

                                                                                   LET'S GET STARTED.

November, 2017: These profiles are several years old. We haven't seen anything in the news about any of these anti-freedom zealots having come around in favor of common sense and freedom via repealing smoking bans, so we're leaving their profiles up. We'll also add others.

Margaret Hamburg, anti-freedom slob
Former Commissioner, Food & Drug Administration

Per Hamburg's page on the FDA website (see links below), she is a graduate of Radcliffe College and Harvard Medical School. Her site says she is exceptionally qualified for her job. She's done a lot, no denying that. She's also a former New York City Commissioner of Health. Uh-oh.

Let's go a bit further into Margaret Hamburg's thinking and find out more of what it is she wants enforced upon the American people. Let's see how she used her non-elected post at the FDA. For freedom and the betterment of society? Or for authoritarian rule?

First off, published articles (links below) state her father and grandmother taught her to fight oppression. That's admirable. But apparently, in Margaret Hamburg's mind, that didn't include oppression against all people, only the ones she saw as worthy of her ideals. Per the FDA's website and published articles, she supports a law in the United States that would demand Holocaust-type pictures be put on packs of cigarettes. You know, gruesome photos of ill-at-health or dead people - who may or may not have smoked - with holes in their necks, corpses with toe tags on them, all that.

In her own words, per a USA Today article, "Some of the images are very powerful. That is the point."

Oh, so assault an entire nation with enforced dogma and anti-freedom brainwashing - like it's done in China and North Korea. That correct? Sure it is.

Like all zealots addicted to drama, Margaret Hamburg appears to have lost any perspective she may have ever had. She seems to find it appropriate that a bit more of authoritarian rule be enforced upon Americans. Drug addicts find a false sense of drama and enlightenment when they inject drugs into their veins, even to the demise of themselves and to those around them. Margaret Hamburg appears addicted to the self-injected drama she feels in her life via attempting to enact a bit more of anti-freedom rule and tyranny in the United States. Freedom and liberty? Honest science? Common sense? They're acceptable casualties with her.

Don't fool yourselves: With Margaret Hamburg it's all about Margaret Hamburg. Like the nazi's in 1930's and 1940's Germany, she demands you feel the drama she feels, too. And if you don't agree with her?  Margaret Hamburg - the daughter and granddaughter of people who taught her to fight in the face of oppression - wants you to be marginalized and punished. For Smoking. In America.

Margaret Hamburg seems an excellent example of an intelligent person who is not intelligent in everyday life. She has somehow, in her own arrogant way, found it her mission to have her own version of enlightened living to be enforced upon the citizens of the United States. But what if they don't want her ideals enforced upon them? She doesn't care.

They gave all for freedom. Not tyranny.

Margaret Hamburg has metaphorically spit upon the graves of those who gave all so that their loved ones might live free, so that we might live free, and so that they too might have lived free had they been lucky enough to return home alive from battle.

Over the top? Sad to say, we don't think so. Hamburg doesn't appear to have the moral character to admit she's gone too far. She doesn't appear to give a flip about just leaving people alone and letting them live out their lives in a peaceful way.

Margaret Hamburg and her pals manifest a disrespect for the rule of law. That's bad for all of us. But they don't care. They never have. Freedom and liberty? Common sense? Honest science? Ah, pshaw. That's silly stuff to Margaret Hamburg. Her actions show her to be an anti-freedom, authoritarian zealot whose views have no place being enforced in a free society. Maybe in China or North Korea, but not here. We find her actions appalling.

Update, October 2011
: Tobacco companies went to court and got an injunction against the FDA's demands that grusome, altered pictures be put on packages of cigarettes. See our "New-Making Progress" page.

Update, February 6, 2012: Individuals at the FDA - under Margaret Hamburg's rule - have been caught secretly monitoring all personal email communications of the agency’s own doctors and scientists after they notified congressional leaders that the FDA was approving medical equipment that posed unacceptable risks to patients. The plaintiffs allege that the government violated their constitutional privacy rights by tapping their personal email accounts. "Who would have thought that they would have the nerve to be monitoring my communications to Congress?" said Robert C. Smith, who reviewed devices at the FDA until his contract expired in July 2010. "How dare they?"

Update. March 1, 2012: Nice! Freedom and a longed-for respect for the rule of law are on a roll in the United States. Today, United States District Court Judge Richard Leon ruled against the demands of the anti-freedom, no-smoke zealots. He ruled the United States government's demands that absurd and grotesque images be displayed upon cigarette packages is unconstitutional.  Judge Leon ruled in favor of liberty and the 1st amendment to the United States Constitution.

Update, March 10, 2012: The leftist slobs in the Obama Administration appealed Judge Leon's ruling. Have you any doubt left that the the Obama administration's goals are to have you submit to the authoritarian rule and tyranny of the Almighty State via financial and legal intimidation? You know, like it is in North Korea and China? You shouldn't, not anymore. Be your politics left, center, or right, we hope you'll finally begin to understand that the no-smoke thugs are nothing but bad news for freedom in the United States.

Mitch Daniels, anti-freedom slob
RINO
Former Governor, State of Indiana

A viewer of this website forwarded us news of Daniels. We'd never heard of him.

January, 2012: Let's take a look into Mitch Daniels thinking per his actions: At first sight, one sees nothing but accolades for Daniels on his website. It's very similar to the website praising Micheal Bloomberg (former Mayor, New York City). On Mitch's website, it's all about Mitch and all the good he supposedly performs without any apparent desire for personal gain. Right.

Then the picture starts to get real ugly. The Super Bowl is coming to Indiana in February of 2012. Daniels - at the urging of the anti-freedom slobs at the American Cancer Society - thinks an anti-freedom, authoritarian, state-wide smoking ban should be instituted in Indiana prior. Per his own words in the article, "I think the time for a statewide smoking ban has come. I think that evidence has grown."

In other words, Daniels, a RINO, and the anti-freedom slobs at the American Cancer Society believe the time has come to outlaw a bit more of freedom and common sense in Indiana. In their minds it's time for the citizens of Indiana to submit to tyranny. Daniels and the American Cancer Society - in this context - are pissants. What? Too far, you say? Over the top? Well, sadly, it doesn't appear so. What would you call people who want to outlaw freedom and common sense?

Honest science, freedom, and individual rights are being attacked by Mitch Daniels. And that seems quite ok by him. If Mitch Daniels never went into a business that allowed smoking if he lived to be 100 years old, smoking still shouldn't be allowed. Because Mitch Daniels doesn't like smoking. This supposed great guy gauged the political winds. Instead of standing up for freedom, Daniels chose tyranny and cowardice. We find him disgusting. His ideas and thinking have no place in American politics.

They gave all for freedom. Not tyranny.

Mitch Daniels and the people at the American Cancer Society have metaphorically spit upon the graves of those who gave all so that their loved ones might live free, so that we might live free, and so that they too might have lived free had they been lucky enough to return home alive from battle.

And that seems quite acceptable to Mitch Daniels and the American Cancer Society. It doesn't matter to them that "science" put forth by the no-smoke authoritarians is continually being proven as fraudulent. It doesn't appear to matter to Daniels that the no-smoke slobs manifest a disrespect for the rule of law. Like the tyrants in charge in China and North Korea, Mitch Daniels and the American Cancer Society want tyranny enforced upon the citizens of Indiana.

We find Mitch Daniels' actions deplorabe. We urge all Indianans and Americans to call out him out on his actions. Mitch Daniels is what is so wrong with politicians of all stripes these days. Freedom? Common sense? Honest science? Daniels doesn't seem to give a flip about any of that. It's all about him and staying in office and avoiding bad press. He's a tyrant. And a coward.

Don't back down to tyrant slobs like Mitch Daniels or the American Cancer Society. They have no place in American politics or in any free society. They manifest a disrespect for the rule of law. That's bad for all of us. But Mitch Daniels doesn't appear to care.

Kathy Drea, anti-freedom slob
American Lung Association of Upper Midwest
Chicago, Illinois

We see Kathy Drea as a cancer upon common sense, democracy, freedom and honest science. Kathy Drea appears an out of control zealot who works with the American Lung Association. Her actions suggest she has a pathological need for entire populaces to submit to her authoritarian demands. Like all her pals at the American Lung Association, she wants common sense and freedom to continue to be outlawed. She wants people marginalized and punished. For smoking. In America.

A lot of accusations flying around in the paragraph above, isn't there? Sadly, it all appears true to us or we wouldn't have put it up.

Drea is a supporter of the bill that in 2005 that outlawed a bit more of freedom and liberty in Illinois via its smoking ban. In April of 2011, per published reports, Drea reacted quite angrily when the Illinois House of Representatives voted to allow smoking once again in casinos in Illinois. Drea doesn't concern herself with things like honest science.

Like drug addicts who inject drugs into their veins to feel a false sense of drama and enlightenment, even to their own demise and to the demise of those around them, Drea appears to get a high of sorts in promoting and demanding submission to tyranny. She gets angry when people prove her wrong or call her out.

With Drea and the no-smoke thugs, it's all about drama and not having the character or courage to admit they've gone to far. And if common sense, freedom, and liberty should be casualties of Drea's seemingly endless tripe? She doesn't care.

Item. Posted on SmokeFreeIllinois.org
: "Kathy received the award for her efforts and commitment to the passing of Illinois House Bill 672 in the summer of 2005. This historic legislation allows Illinois communities to regulate smoking in public places. The signing of this bill makes Illinois the second state to repeal a tobacco industry law that bans cities from enacting smoking policies."

In other words, business owners shouldn't be allowed to decide for themselves. Of course not, and here's why in Drea's warped thinking: If Drea should live to be 100 and never went to a bar, or casino, or any other business where people were smoking, she thinks the owners should still be punished for allowing smoking. In Drea's thought process, she seems to be saying, "I'll not ever go where people smoke, but I don't care. They shouldn't smoke because I don't want them to smoke. I demand they be punished if they do smoke. I haven't found a way to make people to pay attention to me until now. I get off on this. I'm right, they're wrong. They will obey my need to dominate. Screw their freedom and liberty.

Item. Per an online article on lungchicago.org, dated 3/29/2011: Kathy Drea is quoted, as saying, (Illinois) saved $1.18 billion in heart-related healthcare costs since the smoking ban went into effect."

Like all zealots, Kathy Drea appears a liar. Her assertion can not be proven, nor will it ever be proven with honest science. But that's what zealots do. They lie.

Item. Posted circa 2011 - 2013 on www.ThinkExist.com, (no longer active November, 2017) Kathy Drea is shown, as saying:
1) "All reputable research done by reputable organizations - state health departments, universities, the Centers for Disease Control - show no negative economic impact (from smoking bans)."

Again, straight up lies. The comment speaks directly to the woman's dishonesty and lunacy. Any honest research will show that businesses have shut down, and those still open have lost significant income due to the smoking ban being enacted in the state of Illinois. Illinois officials and casino representatives have shown that Illinois has lost over 800 million dollars due to the anti-freedom smoking ban being enacted.

2)  "This is a public health issue. We don't allow restaurants and bars to serve tainted foods or have cockroaches and rats. We require the help to wash their hands. We have all kinds of requirements, and they're all for public health.”

So what does that have to do with smoking in a bar, casino, restaurant or any other business? It doesn't. It's more dogma from Drea. Like all the no-smoke zealots, she continually attempts to put forth a dishonest stance when her previous assertions have been proved as being dishonest. Living and letting live, and the concepts of personal responsibility and individual property rights doesn't appear a part of Drea's mindset. Because she's a zealot. And like all zealots, she's out of control. She's lost perspective.

They gave all for freedom, not tyranny.

They gave all so that their loved ones might live free, so that we might live free, and they too had they been lucky enough to return home alive from battle.

Kathy Drea has metaphorically spit upon the graves of those who gave all for freedom. Too far? Over the top? We don't think so. With Kathy Drea, it's all about Kathy Drea. She demands submission to drama and tyranny. In America.

Don't doubt if for a second, the woman wants smoking outlawed. Period. The big bad demon she goes after isn't just smoking, it's you and your freedom and liberty. She appears to find it quite acceptable that her apparent pathalogical need to feel important and be paid attention to trumps your right to freedom and liberty.

We find Kathy Drea's actions in this context to be appalling. Kathy Drea manifests a disrepect for the rule of law. That's bad for all of us. But she doesn't care. Nope. Not at all.

Raymond Harter, anti-freedom zealot
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Here's a guy out of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We came upon Raymond Harter via a link forwarded to us. He brags non-apolotetically on www.youtube.com, (link no longer available November, 2017) about not allowing smoking in the Best Western Carolinian Motel in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We support him on that front. It's called freedom. Their business, their money. Let 'em run it how they see fit.

Then it starts getting ugly. Not allowing smoking in his hotel doesn't appear good enough for Raymond Harter. Like all the no-smoke slobs, he doesn't appear to know when to stop. Raymond wants smoking banned statewide in South Carolina. And it doesn't stop there. Raymond Harter wants smoking banned in all of the United States. In other words, Harter wants you to be you marginalized. And punished. Even jailed. For smoking. In America.

Like all the no-smoke slobs here in the United States, Raymond Harter doesn't care if he'll not ever go into a bar, or a restaurant, or a casino, or in any business anywhere in the United States you might be smoking. He doesnt' care that you never asked for his help. It doesn't matter to him that it's not his money you invested into your business. Nope. He could be sitting in his office in the Best Western Carolinian in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, but if you're smoking in a business anywhere else in the United States, Raymond Harter wants you be punished. For smoking. In America. Sound just a bit arrogant? Not to Harter and his anti-freedom thugs.

Like all the no-smoke thugs here in the USA, Raymond Harter and his anti-freedom pals at www.SmokeFreeHorry.com (link no longer active November, 2017) have lost perspective. They're out of control. They've found a way to inject drama into their lives. They like it. They're addicted to it. They've found a way for people to pay attention to them. Like the nazi's in 1930's and 1940's Germany, they've found others like themselves who have pathetic lives and who have finally found a chance to be obeyed. Freedom & liberty? Common sense? Honest science? Those concepts are a load of crap to folks like Raymond Harter and his pals.

They fought and gave all for freedom. Not tyranny.

Raymond Harter has metaphorically spit upon the graves of those who gave all so that their loved ones might live free. So that we might live free. And so that they too might have lived free had they been lucky enough to return home alive from battle.

Too far? Over the top? Regretfully, not so. And that's a sad deal. It really is. Like drug addicts who inject themselves with drugs to feel a false sense of drama and enlightenment - even to their eventual demise and to the demise of those around them - that being freedom an liberty in this case - Raymond Harter and his band of zealots can't seem to get enough of the drama they feel via demanding a bit more of freedom and common sense be outlawed in the United States.

Raymond Harter and his anti-freedom pals appear to be out of control. They're disgusting. They manifest a disrespect for the rule of law. That's bad for all of us. But they don't care. Nope. Not at all. And they don't stop. We find Raymond Harter's actions in this context to be appalling.

Stephanie Steinberg, anti-freedom slob
Chairwoman, Smoke Free Gaming

September 21, 2011: We go on a bit too long in this profile. We don't expect you to take the time to read it all. Here's the short version: Stephanie Steinberg is an anti-freedom thug. She is a cancer upon freedom and liberty. She wants you marginalized  and punished for smoking. In America. Like the nazi's in 1930's and 1940's Germany, it is her disire to confiscate freedom and liberty from a group of people she doesn't like, and she wants to give it to people she happens to agree with. Stephanie Steinberg has metaphorically spit upon the graves of those who gave all for freedom so that their loved ones might live free, so that we might live free, and so that they too might have lived free had they been lucky enough to return home alive in defence of freedom. We find her actions despicable. That's it in a nutshell.

Here's the longer version:
Stephanie Steinberg is a cancer upon freedom and liberty. She is advocating freedom (smoking) be outlawed in all casinos in the USA. She demands casino owners submit to her authoritarian demands and obey her. Because she doesn't like smoking. Sound just a bit arrogant on Stephanie Steinberg's part? Well sure it is. But she doesn't care. Read on.

Per an article in the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Steinberg and her no-smoke nazi pals held a get-together in Las Vegas in May, 2011. The usual "smoking is bad, blah, blah, blah" sermons went on. They also featured a pathetic individual from Delaware by the name of Vincent Rennich. Rennich, per published reports, worked in a casino in Atlantic City for 25 years. He found out he has/had lung cancer. Condolences. We're serious. We hope he gets better. But then Rennich went and filed a lawsuit against his former employer claiming his illness was caused by second-hand smoke. Honest science? Of course not. Have people who have not ever been around second-hand smoke been diagnosed with lung cancer? Sure, it happens all the time. But ol' Vincent found an opportunity to get some attention via casting blame upon others. You understand the logic in play there, right? A company gives a guy steady employment with good benefits, and the guy turns around and sues them. For 4.5 million dollars. And Steinberg jumped right on it.

Let's take an honest look at Stephanie Steinberg and her thinking, per her own words:
     1) "Nevada is an untamed Beast." Those comments on www.greenlodging.com. (link no longer active November, 2017). Unfortunately for zealots like Steinberg, Nevadans have a
strong sense of independence and common sense running through their veins. They savor freedom and they don't hide their passion for
it. Rather than finding the defense of our freedoms and liberties admirable, Stephanie Steinberg finds it not acceptable. According to
Steinberg's warped thinking, owners of casinos shouldn't be allowed to allow smoking. Even if Steinberg lived to be 100 and didn't ever go
into the casinos that allow smoking. Because in her arrogance, in her authoritarian beliefs, she thinks Americans need her to protect them
      from themselves.
     2) Per the website shown above, Steinberg blabbers on: “Once all gaming industry employees are protected from second-hand smoke, our
mission will be accomplished." So according to Steinberg, when freedom and individual property rights and personal ownership are
outlawed in the United States, then Stephanie Steinberg will be happy. Here's the truth: We're all going to die. It doesn't matter if we
smoke or run or go to a gym everyday. No one needs Stephanie Steinberg to watch over them. In fact, most people wish Stephanie
Steinberg would mind her own business and go away. No one has ever forced anyone to work in an establishment where smoking is
allowed. Stephanie Steinberg is free to apply for a gaming license and open up a casino is she wants, and she's free to not allow smoking.
She is free to not go casinos that don't allow smoking. But that's not good enough for anti-freedom zealots like Stephanie Steinberg.
Because nothing in Steinberg's thinking has anything to do with freedom and liberty, or living and letting live. Like all the no-smoke
zealots, Steinberg is addicted to drama. She's lost perspective. Like drug addicts who inject drugs into their veins to feel a false sense of
enlightenment, even to their own demise, Stephanie Steinberg injects drama into her life even if it means the demise of freedom. She
demands Americans submit to tyranny to get her high. And people who don't care to engage her in her high? She doesn't care. With
Stephanie Steinberg it's all about Stephanie Steinberg.
     3) Freedom and liberty? Honest science? Personal ownership and individual property rights? Zealots like Stephanie Steinberg
consider those annoyances that should be marginalized and legislated out of existance. Said Steinberg, “Our focus is on Nevada. It is the
No. 1 gaming revenue state. Nevada lawmakers have chiseled away at the clean indoor air law and brought smoking back—even though
voters voted to remove smoking from restaurants and bars. We have taken huge steps backward.” The law Steinberg refers to has in fact
been chiseled away at. And we're happy for it. See our "News-Making Progress" page for more information. We need to address
Steinberg's arrogance once again. Steinberg lives in Colorado, not Nevada. But Steinberg thinks people in Nevada need her to inject her
      pathetic life into Nevadans lives.
     4) The article further quotes Steinberg, as saying, "Casino workers are especially vulnerable to cigarette smoke because they work in
environments that are open 24 hours a day. The smoking never stops. It affects employee morale." Morale? Let's see: Get a job,
have great benefits, paid vacation, retirement. If you don't like your job, then get another one somewhere else. It's called freedom.
Freedom and liberty are vulnerable to un-American zealots like Stephanie Steinberg who demand entire populaces submit to
      anti-freedom, authoritarian rule.
     5) A la Algore and his global warming zealots who disregard honest mathmatics and science to meet a desired outcome, Steinberg's pals on
Smoke Free Gaming ( www.smokefreegaming.org ) cite a study that suggests outlawing individual ownership and personal responsibility in
Illinois (the enactment of the smoking ban in casinos) didn't cause Illinois casinos a cent in lost income. Guess who sponsored part of the
study? Statisticians with no agenda? Of course not. Try "Missouri Group Against Smoking Pollution." And the casino companies? They've
stated  that Illinois has lost over 800 million dollars in taxable revenue due to the smoking ban in Illinois. See our "News-Making
Progress" page for more information. But authoritarian thugs like Steinberg - like all zealots without regard to the consequences - put
forth lies and present them as fact. In other words, with Stephanie Steinberg peace is bad. War is good. Left is right, and right
is left. Freedom is bad, tyranny is good. All is fair for the almighty "Cause."
     6) In the study cited above - this is too sweet - an article cited on Steinberg's website states that, "When economic conditions were
accounted for...," and, "The commission didn't take economic conditions into account." Their arrogance knows no bounds. What they're
saying is, like all studies the no-smoke slobs put forth, is they're putting forth bad science represented as honest science to individuals and
governmental bodies to see their authoritarian agenda come into being. It's a tactic used by all zealots. They cite inconsistencies in
their studies they hope you'll not take the time to check out until it's too late. Hence: Like their studies, the no-smoke zealots are frauds.

They gave all for freedom, not tyranny.

Stephanie Steinberg has metaphorically spit upon the graves of those who gave all so that their loved ones might live free, so that we might live free, and so that they too might have lived free had they been lucky enough to return home alive in defense of freedom.

Freedom? Individual responsibility? Personal ownership? Steinberg supports them being further outlawed in the United States. We find Steinberg's actions disgusting. Steinberg and her anti-freedom minions manifest a disrespect for the rule of law. That's bad for all of us. But Steinberg doesn't care. With Stephanie Steinberg, it appers to be all about Stephanie Steinberg. Freedom, and liberty and common sense are pesky little annoyances that authoritarian slobs like Steinberg want legislated out of existance. In America. Call her out every chance you get. Stephanie Steinberg is dangerous to freedom.

Charlie Roth, anti-freedom zealot
Kansas House of Representatives

One would hope common sense is still alive in the American midwest. Even with some who call themselves Republicans. Well, sometimes yes, sometimes no. Freedom and liberty are still being attacked at the hands of anti-freedom fascists like Charlie Roth. What's that? Fascist? Read on.

Roth, an anti-freedom thug - is in favor of a bill that would outlaw smoking in state-owned casinos in Kansas. According to the zealot, per published reports, "We don’t leave our most important issues to local government. This is a very important health issue, and for that we need the state to exercise the option of running regulation.”

Sound just a bit too much like 1930's and 1940's nazi Germany there? Maybe modern day North Korea & China? Sure it does. Because it is.

Translation of Roth's words from authoritarian-speak into English: Lies and drama are OK. It's quite acceptable to put forth and enforce authoritarian rule. Individual choice is bad. People who serve on governmental bodies in towns and counties are stupid.  The almighty state is all-knowing. People should be punished. For Smoking. In America. I have power, and I intend on using it. It makes me feel good. Freedom, be damned.

Charlie Roth puts forth the drama and lies of the anti-smoking thugs in the USA. It appears to give him a high of sorts. Like drug addicts who inject drugs into their veins to feel a false sense of drama and enlightenment, even to their own demise and to those around them, he can't seem to get enough. He appears to crave it. He got elected, and he found what he appears to have always wanted: Drama, and a way to make people pay attention to him and obey him via enacting authoritarian rule upon an entire populace.

They gave all for freedom. Not for tyranny.

Charlie Roth has metaphorically spit upon the graves of those who gave all so that their loved ones might live free, so that we might live free, and themselves had they been lucky enough to return home alive from battle in defense of freedom.

Too far? Over the top? Regretfully, no. And that's sad. It really is. Roth wants more freedoms and common sense outlawed in the Kansas. Charlie Roth and his ilk are dangerous to freedom and democracy. Their actions are despicable. We're asking Kansans to call him out and vote his butt out of office. He has no place in any governing body in the United States or any free country. Maybe in China or North Korea, but not in the United States.

Charlie Roth and his anti-freedom thugs manifest a disrespect for the rule of law. That's bad for all of us. But they don't care. Nope, not at all.  See our "Good Govt-Bad Govt" page.

Christine Quinn, anti-freedom zealot
New York City Council Member, District 3.

Well, the storm-troopers are still marching and on the move in New York City. They've recently enacted a new law which bans smoking in in New York City's 1,700 parks, its 14 miles of public beaches plus boardwalks, marinas and pedestrian plazas like the one in the heart of Times Square.

Christine Quinn - a Democrat, imagine that - enthusiastically supported the outlawing of a bit more freedom and common sense. In other words, authoritarian rule in New York City is now acceptable.

Said the anti-freedom zealot, in an article published by the Associated Press*, "The statistics don't lie: Secondhand smoke kills. With this bill, all New Yorkers can now breathe easier and breathe cleaner air."

Christine Quinn is a liar and the statistics she cites are fraudulent at best. We know it, we suspect she knows it, and now the whole world knows it.

Whatever statistics Quinn and her fellow no-smoke thugs cite have been fudged to meet a desired outcome, not to seek out honest science. That's what zealots do. They lie. New Yorkers will not breathe easier or breathe cleaner air because of the new ban being enacted.

What Quinn has the audacity to try to put to the public is, if you're leaning against a tree or spread out on a blanket in a park in New York City, and if you're smoking, that smoke - OUTSIDE - will cause harm to someone else. The woman belongs on a governing council in China or North Korea, not in the United States.

None of what Quinn has done here has anything to do with common sense, honest science, or freedom, or liberty.  With Christine Quinn, it's all about drama. Like drug addicts who inject drugs into their veins to feel a false sense of drama and enlightenment, even to the demise of themselves and those around them, Quinn just can't get enough. And she not only wants New Yorkers to feel the drama too, she demands it.

And if New Yorkers don't submit to Christine Quinn? They'll be punished. For smoking. In America. Freedom and liberty, be damned.

They fought and gave all for freedom. Not tyranny.

Christine Quinn has metaphorically spit upon the graves of those who gave all so that their loved ones might live free, so that we might live free, and themselves had they been lucky enough to return home alive from battle.

And it doesn't seem to bother her a bit.

Too far? Over the top? We don't think so. She couldn't give a flip about common sense, freedom, honest science, or liberty. Like the nazi's in 1930's and 1940's Germany, Quinn has found others like herself who get off on demanding submission to dogma, lies, and tyranny.  She demands obedience to anti-freedom rule. Her actions show her to be a zealot, an anti-freedom slob, whose views have no place being enforced upon the citizens of New York City, or its visitors. Or anywhere in the United States. We find her actions despicable.

There were disenters to the new law. Councilman Erik Dilan called the ban "an infringement on the rights of people," adding sarcastically, "So now, if anyone wants to smoke, they'll have to smoke in the bike lane."

Support freedom and liberty. Cancel your vacation or business plans to New York City.

Dr. Lawrence Sands, anti-freedom zealot
Chief Health Officer, Southern Nevada Health District

April, 2010: Like the nazi’s in 1930’s & 1940’s Germany, and as in China and North Korea today, Dr. Lawrence Sands demands submission to authoritarian rule and tyranny in southern Nevada. Sands and his fellow anti-freedom slobs manifest a disrespect for the rule of law. That’s bad for all of us. But he doesn't appear to care.

Unfortunately for Sands and his pals, most Nevadans have a strong streak of independence running through their veins. Many have told Sands and his minions at the Southern Nevada Health District to take a hike. They've said, "Go away. You've gone too far. You've lost perspective. We're not going to obey you."

Lawrence Sands has gone from being a physician always being available for help for the asking to being an anti-freedom slob who demands citizens live the way he wants them to. He is on a mission to outlaw a bit more common sense and freedom in southern Nevada.

Item: With a 14.6 million dollar grant from the federal government, Sands and his anti-freedom - you will obey us, freedom & liberty be damnedpals have been assaulting southern Nevadans with a non-stop media campaign. It’s been going on for several years. Their intent? Use deceit, dogma, and drama to marginalize anyone who smokes. Encourage citizens to report any business owners who allow smoking in their establishments. If you watch TV and live in southern Nevada, or have visited the area, you’ve most likely been a victim of Sands’ disgusting tripe.

Item: Lawrence Sands and his minions have recently filed a civil suit against Bilbo’s Bar & Grill in Las Vegas. Bilbo’s horrific crime? Patrons were observed smoking by health department employees. And if that wasn’t enough to drive Lawrence Sands over the edge, ashtrays were also seen. Ashtrays! Horrors!

Item: Sands and his thugs have begun going after Hookah lounges. As we’ve shown many times on this website, it isn’t honest science the no-smoke thugs care about. It never has been. It’s all about outlawing smoking and any form of it. Period. Freedom and liberty, be damned.

Item: Per an online report (2010), Maria Azzarelli, the SNHD’s Tobacco Control Program coordinator, the cost of treating tobacco-related illnesses in Nevada is $565 million per year. Maria Azzarelli is a liar. We know it, we suspect she knows it, and now the whole world knows it. Her assertion can not be proven, nor will it ever be with honest science.

Item: Lawrence Sands and his minions at the SNHD have put up a webpage where people can turn in the neighbors. So they'll be punished. For smoking. In America. Take a look: http://www.southernnevadahealthdistrict.org/forms/nciaaform.php

They gave all for freedom, not tyranny.

Lawrence Sands has metaphorically spit upon the graves of those who gave all so that their loved ones might live free, so that we might live free, and themselves had they been lucky enough to return home alive from battle.

To far? Over the top? We don't think so. His actions are despicable.

Lawrence Sands and those of his ilk couldn't give a flip about freedom, or honest science, or of living and letting live in a peaceful manner. Nope, not at all. Like drug addicts who find a false sense of drama and enlightenment via injecting drugs into their veins, even to their own demise and to the demise of those around them, Lawrence Sands appears to be addicted to the drama he's found in putting forth lies and seeing tyranny enforced upon entire populaces. He hasn't the character to admit he's gone too far and that he's crossed lines that are causing discord amongst citizens. He's a zealot, and zealots do not deal in fair play or reason. They lie to bring their agenda into fruition because they've lost all perspective. With zealots nothing is as important as drama and their almighty "Cause." Freedom and liberty? Common sense? Honest science? They're all acceptable casualties with Lawrence Sands and his pathetic pals.

If you live in southern Nevada, or vacation in Las Vegas, we encourage you to patronize and support those who have drawn a line and refuse to obey or submit to anti-freedom slobs like Lawrence Sands. It's what America is all about, freedom, and not backing down from those who would like to outlaw it. Lawrence Sands' actions and demands have no place being accepted or enacted in any free society. Maybe in China or North Korea, but not in the United States.

 Ellen J. Hahn, anti-freedom zealot
University of Kentucky, School of Nursing
Director of Kentucky Center for Smoke-Free Policy

Update, April, 2010: We'd originally put Hahn on this page around 2009.  Per a recent article dated April 14, 2011*, Kenton County, Kentucky has enacted a smoking ban, but it allows bars and other establishments to be exempt upon meeting certain requirements. That wasn't good enough for Hahn. Of course, not. She's a zealot, she's out of control, she's lot perspective, and she, in her arrogance, wants all citizens of Kentucky to obey her. She wants people punished. For smoking. In America.

Per online reports, Hahn said, "We have a lot of experience with other communities, like Louisville, which eventually strengthened their ordinance to a comprehensive smoke-free law because of enforcement issues. It's really a matter of everyone deserves to breathe clean air, and why do we give exemptions for some and not for others?" Hahn said. "From an enforcement standpoint, it's much easier if it's comprehensive."

In other words, the bullshit aside, Hahn is saying, "I demand you obey me. I have an agenda. It doesn't matter if you're smoking somewhere I'll not ever go to if I lived to be 100 years old. I don't want you to smoke. It doesn't matter if I did go to a business where smoking is allowed and that smoke wouldn't harm me. I don't want you to smoke. I'm smart, you're stupid. I want you punished if you do smoke. 'Comprehensive' is my code-speak for saying I shall rule over you. Freedom, you, and liberty be damned. But I don't have the character to be honest enough to say I've crossed a line and infringed on your freedom."

In addition, what the anti-freedom slob doesn't say, is 1) the no-smoke thugs like herself have found success in outlawing freedom in other states via going to state governmental bodies and bypassing local communities that would prefer to decide for themselves. And 2) that no one ever forced anyone to work in a bar, or 3) it has never been proven that anyone working in any establishment where smoking is allowed was ever harmed via smoke, or 4) that no one ever asked Ellen J. Hahn for her help in this regard.

But Hahn can't seem to get her arms around that concept. Nope.

We reference our point on several pages on this website: Ellen J. Hahn, like a drug addict injecting drugs into her veins, appears to find a false sense of drama and elightenment via demanding the enactment and enforcement of authoritarian rule in the face of honesty and logic contradicting her assertions. And she won't stop. She appears to crave the drama, even to her own demise and her lack of shame.

Ellen J. Hahn, in our opinion, is an un-American, anti-freedom slob. She is demanding Americans submit to authoritarian rule. Her actions are not acceptable in any free society - be she mentally ill, or lonely and driven for attention, or being a full-on authoritarian nutjob. We encourage all freedom-loving Americans to call her out in public wherever they may see her.

Our original posting, circa 2009:

Around 2009, no-smoke slobs in nursing departments in American universities got together to collectively put forth lies to the American public. It is their assertion that businesses haven't lost income because of smoking bans. Their assertion is an absurdity and a bold-faced lie, of course, but that makes no difference to zealots like Hahn.

Ellen J. Hahn and her anti-freedom pals demand more of your liberties be legislated away. She demands all of Kentucky submit to her. Or be fined or be put out of business. Per an article @ www.timestribune.com , dated April 2009, Hahn issued a call for a statewide smoking ban in Kentucky. Even in light of the fact that communities have already come to compromises on smoking ordinances with fascists like Hahn.

As if economic times aren't bad enough already, she wants the citizens of Kentucky to spend millions of $'s enacting and enforcing a statewide ban. She's quoted in the article, as saying, “I think it would be really wonderful if the state would pass it. However, let me just say — it has got to be totally comprehensive, meaning that all work places would be covered. It has to have preemptive language, meaning that local governments could do more if they wanted to.”

"Comprehensive." That's the no-smoke zealots' code-speak for, "YOU WILL SUBMIT TO TYRANNY OR BE PUNISHED. IN AMERICA."

Hahn, like drug addicts, just can't get enough of the self-imposed drama. She doesn't know when to stop. Like Hitler, Mao, Stalin, and other tyrannical slobs, the irrational need for drama and obedience is all that matters. Nothing else. And if our freedom and liberty is a casualty? Doesn't appear to bother Ellen J. Hahn.

As stated above with Warner, what's even more disturbing about Hahn is she works at an institution where free thinking, fair play, and logical thought- and freedom - should be encouraged. Unfortunately, people like Hahn on American university campuses are demanding students buy into drama, dogma, fascism, and lies versus honesty.

Ellen J. Hahn is dangerous to freedom-loving peoples. She's out of control. She's lost perspective. Her actions manifest a disrespect for the rule of law. That's bad for all of us.

But she doesn't care. We find her actions despicable.

Fred Risser, anti-freedom anti-freedom
Wisconsin State Senator, 26th District

Fred Risser is one of the worst of the worst in American politics. And that's saying a lot. Risser's actions show him to be an anti-freedom slob who is more caught up in dogma and drama than he is concerned with protecting civil liberties. He helped shove through a smoking ban in Wisconsin. Guess when the ban took effect. On July 5, 2010. One day after we in the United States, for over 230 years, have celebrated freedom.

We find him disgusting. Don't doubt it for a second: Fred Risser is an anti-freedom slob who is disrespectful of those who gave all in defense of  our freedoms and liberties. Risser sat tight and indulged those annoying, freedom-loving citizens of Wisconsin on July 4th, as long as they'd be oppressed July 5th forward.

And if the citizens of Wisconsin are audacious enough to light up a ciggie or a cigar in a bar or a restaurant post July 5th, 2010? They'll be fined or put out of business, or eventually jailed, until they submit to Risser's enforced tyranny.

You can give all in defense of freedom and liberty.
But You Can't Smoke In a Bar In Wisconsin.

Those brave men and women in America's history gave all so their loved ones might live free. That we might live free, that they might have lived free had they been lucky enough to return home alive from the Delaware River on Christmas Day, or the battlefields of Europe, and the Pacific, the Middle East, and Asia, et al.

Risser doesn't care. Not at all. He and his no-smoke thugs have metaphorically spit on their graves. Over the top? Not at all. In an online article in the Milwaukee Sentinel Journal, posted May 6, 2009, Risser is quoted as saying, "As soon as this bill takes effect, it will start saving lives of our citizens and saving money for our taxpayers."

He's a liar. Because he's a zealot. And that's what zealots do. They lie. He can't prove his assertion because - ding, ding, ding - it's a lie. Don't doubt it for a second: Risser and his nazi pals are divisive. They spit in the face of freedom and liberty. They manifest a disrespect for the rule of law, and they couldn't care less. That's bad for all of us.

Risser has every right to his opinions. We all do. His oppressive ideals have no place being enacted in free societies. The citizens of Wisconsin would do well to vote zealots like Risser out of office. He's out of control. He's lost perspective. He's un-American. He's one of the new American fascists.

Kanie Kastroll, anti-freedom zealot
Las Vegas, Nevada

Nutjob alert: Per an article in the Las Vegas Review-Journal, dated October 9, 2009, the dealer at Wynn Resort in Las Vegas, filed suit against the Wynn because she claims gamblers who smoke have harmed her health. Oh, and she demanded 5 million dollars. Imagine that. Couldn't have been just on principal, right? Of course not.

And let's not forget that no one forced Kastroll to work at Wynn. She wanted to work in a casino, and by God, the people who risked their money to open the Wynn and Encore and gave her employment had better obey her!

She can't seem to grasp the arrogance and the audacity of her actions.

In the article, the 4 year employee of Wynn says she decided to sue her employer to protect her health and that of her fellow employees and non-smoking customers. So upstanding of her, isn't it, to take it upon herself to "protect" others, even if they didn't ask for - nor want - her help? She is quoted, as saying, "I thought it was way overdue. I was concerned about my health and that of my co-workers. Customers come up to me all the time and ask for non-smoking."

What the woman doesn't say is the Wynn has areas for people who don't like smoke. Nor did she say that none of her claims can be proven with honest science, nor will they ever be. Nope. Because it's not about honesty, or logic, or science with folks of Kastroll's ilk. It's all about injecting drama into her life, and feeling important, and demanding others feel her drama too. Freedom and liberty, be damned.

 We find her actions pathetic.

Bev Perdue, anti-freedom slob
Former Governor, North Carolina

Here's a piece of humanity gone sour, disrespectful of freedom and liberty and those who gave all. She demands citizens of North Carolina submit to tyranny or be punished.

Perdue, a Democrat (imagine that), whole-heartedly approved of the smoking ban put into effect in North Carolina, in January, 2010. The bill passed in the North Carolina state House by a 62-56 vote that approved changes adopted in the North Carolina state Senate.

In published reports, Perdue said, "By banning smoking in our restaurants and bars, we will greatly reduce the dangers of secondhand smoke and lower health care costs for families."

She's a liar. She nor honest science will not ever prove out her assertions. We suspect she's fully aware of that, but it doesn't seem to bother her. Because she's a zealot. And that's what zealots do. They lie. Freedom, personal sovereignty, individual ownership, and liberty be damned.

They fought for freedom and liberty. Not tyranny.

Brave souls gave all so their loved ones might live free. So that we might live free, that they might have lived free had they been lucky enough to return home alive from the Delaware River on Christmas Day, or the battlefields of Europe, and the Pacific, the Middle East, and Asia.

Perdue and her anti-freedom thugs are disgusting. They have metaphorically spit upon the graves of those who gave all. Over the top? Nope. You can go to war in defense of freedom and liberty, but if you come back home to North Carolina and have the audacity to smoke in a bar? Bev Perdue demands her nazi minions (health department employees) troll bars and restaurants and punish people and owners of businesses.

For smoking. In America.

Like all storm troopers (cowards), Perdue demands you buy into her drama and lies. Or be punished. Perdue has every right to her opinions. We all do. Her cowardice and demanding authoritarian rule be enforced upon Americans has no place American politics. She manifests a disrespect for the rule of law. That's bad for all of us.

North Carolinians would be well-served to stand up for freedom and call out Perdue and throw her out of office. She's out of control.  She's  lost perspective. She's one of the new American fascists. We find her disgusting.

Maureen Busalacchi, anti-freedom zealot
Smoke Free Wisconsin

Here's another pathetic slob. Like Hitler, Mao, and Stalin before her, she demands citizens of the state of Wisconsin submit to tyranny. And if they don't? It's her desire they be fined or put out of business. Or eventually jailed.

For smoking. In America.

In an editorial dated July 14, 2008 @ the Madison, Wisconsin, Capital Times, the zealot states, "Tobacco use is the leading preventable cause of death in Wisconsin, claiming more than 8,000 lives each year."

She's a liar. Because she's a zealot, and that's what zealots do. They lie. She nor honest science will ever prove out her assertion.

REMEMBER: It is never the intent of zealots and those disdainful or freedom to be honest. Fact and logic are pesky little annoyances they ignore. Lies and purposeful deceit are the tactics of zealots. Busalacchi and her fellow slobs at Smoke Free Wisconsin ( www.smokefreewi.org ) are anti-freedom.

Like a drug addict injecting drugs into her veins to feel a false sense of drama and enlightenment, Maureen Busalacchi finds excitement in demanding authoritarian rule be enforced on entire citizenries. Busalacchi seems to believe that if she puts garbage to the public long enough that her actions will change from being tyrannical into being honest and in defense of freedom. In other words, good is bad, bad is good, truth is a lie, lies are truth.

Get this: Per published reports the slob doesn't want people to be allowed to smoke on outside patios at bars and restaurants.

Is she serious? No smoking outside? Of course, she is. She's a lunatic. According to her it all has something to do with "leveling the playing field," which is nazi code-speak for "YOU WILL OBEY!" And like all of the no-smoke slobs, she's not honest enough to say such.

Those brave souls rose that flag in defense of freedom. Not for tyranny.

Americans have willingly gone into battle, and gave all, so that their loved ones might live free, that we might live free, and themselves had they been lucky enough to return home alive from battle in defense of freedom and liberty.

Maureen Busalacchi couldn't care about any of that. She has metaphorically spit upon their graves.

We find Busalacchi and the fascists at Smoke Free Wisconsin (www.smokefreewi.org) despicable. They're un-American. They're out of control. They've lost perspective. They're disgusting.

Jennifer Granholm, anti-freedom zealot
former Governor, State of Michigan

Ray Basham, anti-freedom zealot

Ron Jelinek, anti-freedom zealot

The anti-freedom - you will obey us, freedom & liberty, be damned - slobs have been on the move in Michigan. This is a small sampling of the tyrants running amok in Michigan. A new smoking ban went into effect in Michigan in May, 2010. They supported it. Granholm, a democrat (imagine that), signed the bill. Per an article published at www.annarbor.com , Granholm the zealot said, "Thousands of Michigan residents die each year from illnesses caused by secondhand smoke."

She's a liar. We know it, we suspect she knows it, and now the whole world knows it. She has no proof of her assertions. Nor will she ever, because they're lies. All dogma. All drama. She appers a leftist slob who enjoys imposing tyranny upon entire citizenries. She wants citizens of Michigan to feel the drama she feels. Strike that: She demands it, even at the expense of freedom and liberty being outlawed. She demands Michiganders submit to un-American, anti-freedom rule. Or be punished.

In the same article, another coward by the name of Ray Basham (a democrat, imagine that) was quoted as saying, "This is the greatest gift we could give the citizens of Michigan because it keeps on giving." So, outlawing freedom and liberty and imposing tyranny are considered a gift in Michigan now? Yes, in his warped thinking. His comments make us ill. We suggest he's lacking in self respect and he has an unhealthy need not only to be paid attention to but also to be obeyed. Even at the cost of outlawing freedom and liberty.

And then we come to the RINO Ron Jelinek, a coward. He also helped shove through tyranny in Michigan. On his website, the zealot says, "This will be a great early Christmas gift to the residents of Michigan who have been asking for smoke-free air for a long time." Christmas? He calls enacting authoritarian rule in America on Christmas a good thing? He's an out-of-control lunatic. He demands you be punished if you smoke in a bar, or a restaurant or any other business. In America.

They gave all for freedom. Not tyranny.

Granholm, Basham, and Jelenik have metaphorically spit on their graves. Over the top? Not at all. They demand you forget about those who gave all for freedom and submit to authoritarian rule and tyranny. And if you refuse? They demand you be punished. For smoking. In America.

Aside: In the article above, it states Granholm signed the anti-freedom bill at Michigan Brewing Company in Lansing, Michigan. The url for their website is: http://www.michiganbrewing.com . It's a brewpub that hasn't allowed smoking. That's was their choice. Their business, their money invested into their business. Their rules. No problem.

Big Problem: Google Michigan Brewing Company. They support NO ONE being allowed to smoke in bars and restaurants in Michigan. In the words of the no-smoke thugs around the country, it's called "leveling the playing field." That's nazi code-speak for, "WE'VE MADE YOUR CHOICE FOR YOU. YOU WILL OBEY US OR YOU WILL BE PUNISHED."  For smoking. In America.

N0-Smoke, anti-freedom slobs at Michigan Brewing Company, a watering hole for fascists in Lansing, Michigan.

Gay Cornell, un-American zealot
Volunteer for American Cancer Society
Coffeyville, Kansas

Per published articles, Cornell is a volunteer for the now-leftist American Cancer Society. Oh, and she lobbied for a statewide smoking ban in Kansas that went into effect July 1, 2010. Imagine that.

She stated in an article (see Roderick Bremby below) that her aunt and father died from lung cancer in their 30's. Condolences. That's sad.

But no one needs - or wants- Cornell to watch over a populace that wishes she'd just go away. They can live their lives, and she hers. But Cornell doesn't understand that concept. Like all of the zealots here in the USA, it's all about her and the  almighty "CAUSE."

Here's the first hint the woman may be a lunatic: Even in light of the fact that communities in Kansas had previously come to compromises with no-smoke thugs, she demanded the Kansas legislature enact a statewide smoking ban. Because she doesn't like smoke. Because she found a way to inject drama into her life. Because she has a pathological need for people to OBEY her.

Example: If Cornell never in her lifetime went to a bar or restaurant or business that allowed smoking, it's still not OK by her for people to smoke in businesses she'd not ever go to. Because she doesn't want them to. Because she thinks she's real smart and you're not. Hence, a bit more of freedom and liberty were legislated away in Kansas because zealots like Gay Cornell thought they should be.

Preferably she'd shut-up and go away. She probably won't though. Like drug addicts addicted to a false sense of drama via injecting drugs into their veins, Cornell appears to have a need to inject drama into her life. She can't seem to stop. Common sense and freedom, be damned.

Gay Cornell demands you feel the drama she feels. Whether you want to or not. Or be punished. In Kansas. For smoking.

Citizens of Kansas would be well-served to call out Cornell on her anti-freedom stance every chance they get. She's out of control. She's lost perspective. We find her disgusting.

Mike Rounds, un-American zealot
Former Governor, State of South Dakota

Here's a RINO coward who put forth the dishonest, un-American tactics of the no-smoke zealots. He doesn't seem to give a flip about personal liberty, self-governance, individual ownership, or freedom. Too harsh, you say? Not at all. Read on.

Per an article on www.blackhillsportal.com , Rounds signed a bill on April 2nd, 2009 to outlaw smoking in restaurants, bars, and casino's in South Dakota.

Guess when the bill in South Dakota was scheduled to take effect. July 1st, 3 days before the day we in America, for over 233 years, have celebrated our nation's birth and independence from tyranny. He, and the zealots at the American Cancer Society, TheTruth.com, and the other no-smoke slobs don't want you to celebrate freedom on July 4th. They demand you to submit to authoritarian rule. And if you don't? They want you punished. In America.

Rounds & the no-smoke zealots have outlawed freedom in South Dakota. The home of Mount Rushmore.

Mike Rounds' actions suggest he couldn't give a flip about those who gave all. His actions disdain freedom. Said Rounds, in the article, “We all recognize the health hazards of smoke and secondhand smoke.  After serious deliberation, the Legislature decided to create a smoke-free environment in restaurants and lounges."

Wrong, nazi-breath. We don't acknowledge your lies and propaganda. There was no 'serious deliberation.' It was a done deal from the beginning. You gauged the political winds, and you took a position to stay in office and to avoid bad press. You didn't have the spine to stand for freedom.

Rounds and his pals supported a bit more of freedom and liberty being outlawed in South Dakota. Rounds has no place in American politics. We're glad he's gone. He's actions are anti-freedom and un-American. We know it, we suspect he knows it, and now the whole world knows it.

Mike Rounds metaphorically spit upon the graves of those who gave all for freedom and liberty. Over the top? Not at all. He demanded tyranny be thrust upon the citizens of South Dakota. We find his actions despicable.

Freedom loving citizens of South Dakota stalled the proposed smoking ban in South Dakota until a vote in 2010. Unfortunately for Rounds and the leftists at the American Cancer Society et al, enough signatures were gathered to put the ban to a public vote. See our 'In The News-Making Progress' page. http://repealsmokingbans.com/News.html

Update, November 2010: Sadly, freedom & liberty took a beating in the 2010 South Dakota elections. Anti-freedom slobs outlawed a bit more or freedom & liberty in South Dakota via outlawing smoking in most public places including bars, casinos, and restaurants. South Dakota, home of Mt. Rushmore. We encourage people to not go to South Dakota.

Dr. Brent Sherard, anti-freedom zealot
Wyoming Department of Health

Ol' Brent's picture suggests he's a nice, caring kind of guy, doesn't it? Think again. He's metaphorically spit upon the grave of every brave soul who gave all so that we might live free in the United States. He's anti-freedom. He's a slob. Over the top? Not at all. Read on.

Sherard is the head of the Wyoming Department of Health (January, 2010). He and his no-smoke minions engaged in a propoganda blitz in Wyoming.

Their intent being to con a populace into believing that people who smoke are killing other people. In other words, they're turning citizens against citizens with purposeful deceit to see their un-American, anti-freedom agenda becoming law. And that's fine by Sherard and his nazi pals.

The picture above is one of the signs being placed around Wyoming by Sherard and his minions.
The bottom line states, "Bartenders are 50% more likely to die from cancer thanks to second hand smoke."
                                                                                                                              They're liars.

The Wyoming Department of Health is also saying, via their pals at www.WeDrawTheLine.com , that, "2/3's of your neighbors support a ban on smoking." They lie. Sherard and his pals are using taxpayer's money to try and convince citizens that 2/3's of Americans support tyranny. We find them disgusting.

Sherard appears another physician gone sour. No more being there for help for the asking. He now demands you live the way he says you should. Whether you want to or not. And if you don't? He wants you to be fined, or put out of business. Or eventually jailed.

For smoking. In Wyoming.

The no-smoke zealots have set their sights on Wyoming, one of the last vestiges of true freedom left in the United States. As the no-smoke zealots have done in other states, the media blitz in Wyoming is a purposeful attempt at deceit to soften peoples stances against tyranny. Slowly and determinedly, they put forth lies until they think a populace's collective mindset has turned to metaphorical mush. And then they come on full-throttle and go to city, county, and state governmental bodies and demand your liberties be legislated away.

Wyoming and Nevada are two of the last trouble points in the USA for the no-smoke slobs. They're having a hard time convincing the citizens of Wyoming and Nevada - with the citizens tax money - that the citizens are stupid, that freedom and liberty are bad, and that authoritarian rule being enforce upon citizenries is good.

Brent Sherard and his pals disdain freedom, honesty, liberty, and logic. They demand you submit to tyranny. Or be punished. They manifest a disrespect for the rule of law. That's bad for all of us. We find him disgusting.

Serena Chen, anti-freedom zealot
California Lung Association East Bay
Emeryville, California

The Belmont, California, city council passed an ordinance that outlaws smoking in your own apartment. That's not a typo. And if you're caught smoking in your home? Fines start out at $100.00. And if you don't obey? You'll be evicted. For smoking. In your apartment.

In America.

It's true. Google Serena Chen. She and her no-smoke pals at the California Lung Association supported the law. Chen stated in a New York Times article dated January 29, 2009, "I think Belmont broke through this invisible barrier in the sense that it addressed drifting smoke in housing as a public health issue."

Invisible barriers? Would they be kind of like 'invisible science' that you think is true, that you feel is true, so it must be true, because you feel so strongly about it? But which honest science disproves?

Chen and the thugs on the Belmont, California, City Council metaphorically spit on the grave of every individual who gave all so that their loved ones might live free, that we might live free, and themselves had they been lucky enough to return home alive in defense of freedom and liberty.

But they don't care. It's all quite OK by Chen and the other slobs shown below. Because they think you and freedom are bad. They think they're real smart and tyranny is good.

They're out of control. They've lost perspective. They're the new American fascists. We know it, we suggest they know it, and now the whole world knows it.

David Braunstein, anti-freedom zealot
Mayor of Belmont, California
He demands Belmont, California's citizens obey him or be fined, or thrown out of their homes, or eventually jailed until they submit to fascism and tyranny. Maybe he didn't feel like he got enough respect in high school. So he ran for mayor thinking he could make people respect him.

Belmont City Council member Dickenson demands lunacy and tryanny be enforced in Belmont, California.

Belmont Vice-Mayor Wozniak demands citizens of Belmont, California, be fined, and evicted from their homes, and eventually jailed if they refuse to submit to authoritarian rule and tyranny.

Belmont City Council Member Feierbach demands you obey him. Sorry, her.

Belmont City Council Member Lieberman demands citizens in Belmont, California submit to tyranny or be fined, or evicted from their homes, or eventually jailed. Hmmm. Jewish-sounding last name and enacting the same nazi-like laws in the United States that Hitler did in 1930's & 1940's Germany. Disgusting.

Shirley Turner, anti-freedom zealot
Trenton, New Jersey

Shirley K. Turner, per published reports on February 18, 2010*, appears another zealot who demands the citizens of New Jersey submit to authoritarian rule and tyranny.

It's not good enough for her that New Jersey has some of the highest taxes in the United States and the state is still broke. Nope. She found a need to take it all a step further by legislating away a bit more of freedom and liberty in New Jersey. Apparently she thinks smoking is so disgusting, so despicable, that people shouldn't be allowed to smoke at - get this - beaches in New Jersey. Or even outside at racetracks.

Outlawing smoking outside? Is she serious? Yep.

We think she wants smoking banned. Completely. Don't kid yourselves, the woman has lost perspective. She's out of control. She's anti-freedom.

Those who gave all so that their loved ones might live free? So that we might live free? So that they might have lived free had they been lucky enough to return home alive from the Delaware River on Christmas Day, or distant shores in defense of freedom and liberty?

Shirley Turner doesn't care about any of that. She has metaphorically spit on their graves. Over the top? Not at all. She demands submission to tyranny. Freedom and liberty, be damned. Freedom-loving citizens of New Jersey would serve themselves well to call out Turner every chance they get and vote her and the other no-smoke slobs out of office.

We find her disgusting.

Tom Miller, un-American zealot
Iowa Attorney General

Miller, a Democrat (imagine that), is one of the new anti-freedom slobs running amok in the USA. His actions suggest he is disrespectful of those who gave all in defense of our liberties. He has metaphorically spit on their graves. He has demanded tyranny be thrust upon the citizens of Iowa. Too harsh? Read on.

Per his website (November 2009), he is serving his 7th four year term as Iowa's attorney general. In the last sentence of his biography page on his website, he says, "I consider it my duty and my privilege to be the people's lawyer. I am deeply grateful for being able to serve as Attorney General of Iowa."

Let's take a couple minutes and examine some of what ol' Tom, the "people's lawyer," is doing to serve the citizens of Iowa. Per an online article on www.desmoinesregister.com a state order was issued to shut down the Ottumwa, Iowa, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post.

Maybe because the people inside who had volunteered for potential death in defense of freedom and liberty were dealing drugs, or operating an illegal gambling operation?

Nope. For smoooooooooking. In America.

In the article, Miller pledged his support for enforcing the smoking ban. Said the zealot slob, “Liquor license holders are obligated to obey all Iowa laws as a condition of their privilege to hold a license. We are determined to enforce this new law — because it is the law and because it saves lives."

Saves lives? He liar. Because he's a zealot, and that's what zealots do. They lie.

Remember: It is never the intent of zealots like Miller to prove outlandish statements. Drug addicts keep injecting drugs into their veins to keep the false sense of drama going even though it's destroying them. People of Miller's ilk need to keep the drama going even though it destroys their credibility and community coheseiveness.

Miller - the top law enforcement officer of the state of Iowa - manifests a disrespect for the rule of law. That's bad for all of us. As stated on our 'Good Govt-Bad Govt.' page, when citizens begin to flagrantly disobey laws, the fabric of our country(ies) begins to fall apart. And Miller knows that.  But he doesn't care. Societies work because citizens have faith that laws will be enacted and enforced with a tenor of morality, common sense, and fair play. When that changes, we're all in trouble.

Tom Miller. The people's lawyer? Let's hope not. Seems he believes that being the people's lawyer dictates thrusting tyranny and authoritarian rule upon Iowa's citizens. Iowans would be well-served to call out Miller and vote him out of office. He's out of control. He's lost perspective. He's anti-freedom. We find his actions, in this regard, disgusting.

Update, November 2010: Miller, the anti-freedom slob, was re-elected to another term in the November 2010 elections.

Hugh Holliman, anti-freedom zealot
North Carolina House of Representatives

Per published reports, Holliman is a lung cancer survivor. Good for him. We're serious.

But Holliman, a Democrat (imagine that) was also the main sponsor of the un-American, no-smoke law enacted January, 2010 in North Carolina. Per an article on www.newsobserver.com, he received an award from the leftists at the American Cancer Society Action Network for his work in helping to outlaw a bit more of freedom and liberty in North Carolina.

Google Ashley G. Bell. She's an anti-freedom slob who is (January, 2010) the North Carolina Government Relations Director for the American Cancer Society. She said, in published reports, "Holliman's leadership was the key factor in securing a smoke-free law in North Carolina. He made this lifesaving legislation a personal priority and ensured its passage and ultimate signing by the governor."

Lifesaving? She can't prove it. Because it's a lie, and that's what zealots do. They lie. They gave Holliman a phony award to make him feel good about enforcing authoritarian rule upon the citizens of North Carolina. Ashley Bell said, in effect, "Comrade! Welcome to the cause. We know you're a dumbass, but you don't, and we're going to use you for all we can."

They gave all for freedom. Not tyranny.

Those brave souls in America's history who gave all so that their loved ones might live free? That we might live free? That they too might have lived free had they been lucky enough to return home alive from battle in defense of freedom and liberty?

Hugh Holliman and the slobs at the American Cancer Society have metaphorically spit upon the graves of those who gave all. Over the top? Not at all. It isn't about freedom, nor liberty, with Holliman and the tyrants at the American Cancer Society. It's all about drama and demanding entire populaces submit to anti-freedom rule.

They manifest a disrespect for the rule of law. That's bad for all of us. But they don't care. North Carolinians would be well-served to vote Holliman out of office and call out the zealots at the North Carolina American Cancer Society offices. They're dangerous to freedom-loving peoples.

We find them disgusting.

Kenneth E. Warner, anti-freedom zealot
Dean of School of Public Health
University of Michigan

Warner is one of the self-proclaimed intelligentsia who demanded more freedom be outlawed in Michigan. Whether Michiganders wanted it taken away or not. He thinks he's real smart and you and freedom are stupid. He's disgusting. Too harsh? Read on.

Per an interview via the University of Michigan News Service, and conducted by Vandana Banerjee, Warner helped push through a smoking ban in Michigan. The ban exempts casino floors, cigar shops, and oh, even the cabs of trucks. Cabs of trucks?

Warner said, about exemptions to the no-smoke bill, "That’s unfortunate, in particular, because casino workers are exposed to enormous amounts of secondhand smoke, and their health definitely is jeopardized by this bill, but it will protect many tens of thousands of Michiganders and it will cause us to see some lives saved as a result."

Lives saved? He's a liar.
Further on in the published interview, Banerjee stated, speaking of the bill to outlaw freedom in Michigan, "you proved that it's actually beneficial for restaurant owners."

Proved? So instead of challenging Warner on his not-true assertions, she concurs with him. Real tough, not-slanted reporting. Right.

Warner stated, in his reply, "I
f you look at the revenues for restaurants and bars, they remain as they were before such a ban, or in some instance they actually increase. So there is no question that economically this will be a benefit to the restauranteurs."

He lies again. Because that's what zealots do to see freedom outlawed and tyranny being enforced. They lie.
Warner was speaking of fraudulent and slanted reports put forth by zealots like himself that were intended to prove a pre-determined outcome.

The anti-freedom slob continued with, "I would point out that if you want the right to have people smoke in your establishment, then you are saying you should have the right to expose your workers and your customers to 5,000 chemicals that occur when you burn tobacco, and that you should have the right to expose them to arsenic, hydrogen cyanide. I could go down a laundry list of chemicals that may be causes of cancer in humans and other diseases."

5,000? Lies. And how many chemicals, Mr. Warner, do you expose the people in Michigan to when you drive, per chance? Or ride a bus? Or fly on an airplane? Or use electricity powered by coal? Or use gasoline? Or buy clothing that was made by putting CO2 into the atmosphere? Or buy food that was produced and packaged with electricity powered by coal?

Kenneth Warner won't say, of course, because he demands an unequal distribution of freedom and liberty according to his beliefs. You don't matter to zealots like Warner.

Even more disturbing about Miller is that he works at an institution where free thinking, logical thought, and good science should be encouraged. Unfortunately, zealots like Warner on American university campuses are demanding students buy into drama, dogma, and lies.  In other words: Freedom is bad, tyranny is good. Lies are truth, the truth is a lie. Wrong is right, right is wrong.

Kenneth E. Warner is disrespectful of freedom and liberty. He demanded a bit more of Michigander's freedoms and liberties be outlawed. And he got it. People of Warner's ilk manifest a disrespect for the rule of law. That's bad for all of us. But he doesn't care.

Kenneth E. Warner is dangerous to freedom-loving peoples. Call him out every chance you get. He's one of the new authoritarian slobs running amok in the United States. We find him disgusting.

The Reno, Nevada Journal-Gazette. www.rgl.com
Check out this rag's attempt at justifying smoking bans in Nevada. Search "Reject Attempt To Repeal Smoking Ban," dated April 1, 2009.
Whereas more moderate legislators in the state supported softening the "Clean Indoor Act" in the state, this socialist rag tried once again,
in full-on nazi-speak, to justify not allowing smoking in privately owned businesses. Period.

We predict the Reno Journal-Gazette will be near to out of business soon like the L.A. Times, Seattle Intelligencer et al. Re: People have begun to cancel subscriptions and stopped buying the paper at outlets. They've grown tired of being assaulted with the near-daily, leftist, anti-freedom articles being passed off as news.

Myra Crownover, anti-freedom zealot
State Representative, House District 64
State of Texas.

One of the worst of the worst in American politics. Crownover co-authored HB5 in the Texas Legislature to restrict smoking in the state of Texas. That's right. In Texas.

We find her disgusting. Like the other no-smoke slobs who put forth lies, she demands you submit to tyranny. Or be punished. You know, just like it's done in China and North Korea.

Infringing upon freedom, liberty, and the rights of others? Doesn't bother Crownover at all. The zealot found a way to inject drama into her life via demanding authoritarian rule be enfored upon Texans. And like a drug addict injecting drugs into her veins, she can't seem to get enough. She doesn't know when to stop. She demands Texans feel her drama, too. Whether they want to or not.

Or be punished. For Smoking. In Texas.

She's lost perspective. She's out of control. Like the nazi's in 1930's and 1940's Germany, she demands Texans buy into drama and give up self-governance. Texans would be well-served to call out Crownover every chance they get. She's an anti-freedom slob. We find her actions disgusting.

There is no place in American politics for individuals of Crownover's ilk. She's one of the new American authoritarians. See our 'News' page for an excellent letter to the editor in the Dallas Morning News regarding Crownover.

Joel Dunnington, anti-freedom zealot
Professor of radiology at University of Texas MD Anderson cancer center

Rodney Ellis, anti-freedom zealot
State of Texas Senate

Reference: "Smoking Ban Debate Heats Up"  on www.chron.com  AP Texas news dated April 14, 2009:

Dunnington appears another zealot who seems to have gone from thinking, "I'm a doctor, I can help people if they'll just ask," to making the huge leap of logic, in apparently thinking, "I'm a doctor. I know what's better for people than they do. They're stupid. I'm smart. They just don't realize it. Therefore, they should obey me."

Per the article cited above, Dunnington said, "Every day, I see the devastating effects of smoke and second-hand smoke. Texans inhale about 68 million of these toxic waste dumps every day." Lies. Honest science will never prove his statement. But we're sure he enjoys injecting false sense of drama into his life via enforcing his misguided beliefs upon others. Because - ding, ding, ding -  he's a zealot.

Ellis sponsored Texas bill 544 to outlaw smoking in most places in Texas. He'll be one of the first to tell you - yawn - that over 50,000 deaths
in the United States each year are attributed to second-hand smoke. His assertion can not be proven. It's absurd. But that's what zealots do. They lie. Freedom? Liberty? Living and letting live? Logic? Science? Oh, pshaw. Those things are silly.

Dunnington and Ellis, like all no-smoke zealots, argue with dogma and untruths. They do it purposefully. Their actions suggest they couldn't give a flip about personal liberty. They've lost perspective. They're out of control. They want you to obey them, whether you want to or not.. They're the new American nazi's. They manifest a disrespect for the rule of law. That's bad for all of us.

Jim Barnett, anti-freedom zealot
Senator, Kansas legislature

Here's a zealot, another RINO weasel who is also a physician. Like Dunnington above, Barnett not only wants to be available for any medical advice you might seek, he also wants you to obey him. He appears to believe that he's real smart, and that you and freedom and liberty are real stupid.

Barnett was quoted in the Topeka Capitol-Journal, on April 29, 2009, (www.cjonline.com ), as saying, "Cigarette smoke harms, and cigarette smoke kills," in his support of a statewide smoking ban in Kansas. OK then. But can he prove it? Nope, not with honest science. But he doesn't seem to care.

Barnett is one of the new anti-freedom thugs who appear to favor tyranny over freedom. He has metaphorically spit upon every grave of every soul who gave all so that theirs might live free, that we might live free, and they too had they been lucky enough to return home alive in defense of freedom.

We find him disgusting.

He has a right to his thinking. We all do. Beyond that, his ideas have no place being enacted in American politics or being enforced upon peoples in free societies. He's crossed the line from physician to fascist. We know it, we suspect he knows it, and now the whole world knows it.

Kansans would be well served to throw Barnett out of office and replace him with someone whose actions have proved they will defend and preserve freedom in Kansas and in the United States. His actions manifest a disrespect for the rule of law. That's bad for all of us.

Roderick L. Bremby, anti-freedom zealot
Secretary, Kansas Department of Health and Environment

Bremby, is quoted in the same article as the zealot Barnett above, as saying, "surveys indicate 94 percent of Kansas believe secondhand smoke is unhealthy."

94%? Lies and propaganda represented as 'surveys.' The 'survey' may not even exist, except if maybe at a gathering of no-smoke slobs.
But that doesn't seem to matter to him. It certainly doesn't seem like it's the truth he's concerned with. Nor facts. Nor freedom. It's all about drama.  He is further quoted, as saying, "Establishing smoke-free zones in public spaces will encourage more people to quit the habit."

Wrong, nazi-breath. No-smoke ordinances manifest a disrespect for the rule of law. That's bad for all of us.

He also said in the article that the experience of cities in Kansas that adopted smoking prohibitions indicates the bans don’t undermine the vitality of bars, restaurants and other businesses.

Lies. And we suggest he's fully aware of such. But that's seems OK to him. Because he's a zealot. And that's what zealots do. They lie.

Bremby has a right to his personal beliefs. We all do. His supporting and helping to enact un-American, anti-freedom laws upon citizens in free societies has no place in American government and politics. We know it. We suggest he knows it. And now the whole world knows it.

Elizabeth Klein, anti-freedom zealot
Assistant professor of health behavior and health promotion
Ohio State University
Email: eklein@cph.osu.edu

Lizzy, well, she speaks like she's on amphetamine. We're serious. We've put her at the bottom because it's extremely hard to follow her thought process. She's annoying. Read on. You'll see.

We apologize to our readers if we go on too long in this one, but you can't back down from something because it's hard.

As stated above with Hahn and Warner, Klein works at an institution where free thinking, fair play, and logical thought- and freedom - should be encouraged. Unfortunately, people like Klein on American university campuses are demanding students buy into drama, dogma, fascism, and lies versus honesty.

Like the lunatics Hahn and Warner above, Klein states (dishonestly) that smoking bans don't harm incomes of businesses, and businesses haven't released employees because of smoking bans having been enacted. She authored a piece of dishonest research, titled, "Study: Smoking Bans Do Not Cause Job Losses in Bars and Restaurants." It can be seen at:  http://researchnews.osu.edu/archive/smokejobs.htm  It was published June 2009, in Prevention Science.

Hence, her logic and thinking suggests: Smoking bans should be further enforced, more bans should be enacted, and those who disobey should be fined and/or jailed, and/or put out of business until they submit.

For smoking in a bar or restaurant. In America.

Klein states: “In the end we can say there isn’t a significant economic effect..." Lies. Nor did she bother to define "significant," because she didn't want to. Zealots play with words to change meanings or words. And who is she to demand any business owner lose one dollar or thousands of dollars because of her demands?

She continues on with, "...by type of clean indoor air policy, which should give us more support for maintaining the most beneficial public health policies. The public health benefit clearly comes from a comprehensive policy where all employees are protected from exposure to environmental tobacco smoke.”

More lies. Everyone knows that businesses have lost significant income - and many have been forced to close - because of smoking bans having been enacted. And there's that word again: "comprehensive."  No-smoke thug code-speak for "you will OBEY! We're smart, you and freedom and liberty are real stupid." Fact: No public health benefit has been proven from a "comprehensive policy where all employees are protected from exposure to environmental tobacco smoke."

Klein continues, "Limited-service restaurants were not included (in the study) because of the low likelihood that they would be licensed for alcohol sales." The low likelihood? We think she means inconvenient things like the truth that would disprove her assertions.

Klein further states, "We wanted to look at businesses most likely to be affected by this type of policy based on the smoking and drinking correlation that has been established in previous studies."

What Klein won't say is those previous studies aka 'propaganda' are also slanted and purposely dishonest. They were put forth by dishonest individuals whose supposed 'research' was always to attempt to prove a pre-determined outcome. The zealot continues, "Opponents to clean indoor air policies tend to say that having a partial policy, with bars exempted, will be less painful economically for the community. They say people who work in these businesses that are dependent on alcohol sales would experience a catastrophic effect."

Yes, opponents of smoking bans a/k/a individuals who love freedom, do say that. And, unlike Klein, they are being truthful. Businesses have lost significant income when freedom was outlawed. Businesses have been forced to close when freedom, individual ownership, and personal sovereignty were outlawed with the full support of fascists like Klein.

Then the woman is caught in her lies by her own words. She says, "We certainly did not detect anything close to the dramatic claims that opponents make based on the concerns that they have for bars. We were not studying individual businesses. We’re studying the effect of a policy implemented at a community level." Klein, the article states, noted that the study did not use revenue data, another strong economic indicator, because statewide reports of revenues in Minnesota were not readily available.  And she said employment trends in the hospitality industry closely match revenues because hospitality businesses operate in a volatile market.

WHAT?
So after her asserting that businesses do not lose revenue, or release employees, or have been forced to close after smoking bans have been enacted, she says she didn't make the effort to study individual bars, or clubs, or restaurants where smoking is/or was previously allowed? This self-proclaimed genius of research didn't research her own research?

Regretfully, comments and garbage put to the public as truth, like Klein's assertions, aren't surprising anymore. Klein and her nazi minions hold a deep disdain for honesty and freedom. Nor do Klein and the other no-smoke thugs at the American Cancer Society, the American Lung Association, TheTruth.com et al seem concerned that they're divisive, and that they're bad for all of us.

Klein has metaphorically spit on the graves of those who gave all so that their loved ones might live free, that we might live free, and themselves too had they been lucky enough to return home alive from distant shores in defense of freedom.

We find her actions disgusting. Klein has crossed a line from wanting her views to not only be heard, to demanding her views be legally enforced upon entire populaces. She manifests a disrespect for the rule of law. That's bad for all of us.

Make no mistake: Elizabeth Klein wants you submit to tyranny. Personal liberties be damned. She's a lunatic.

Michael Bloomberg, anti-freedom zealot
Former Mayor, New York City

Bloomberg is one of the worst of the worst in American politics. He's anti-freedom and he's un-American, in our opinion. Here's why:

It appears he didn't want to give up authority and daily exposure to the masses. To the tune of One Hundred Ten Million Dollars. That's right, $110,000.000.00 of his own money, per published reports, to win re-election to a third term as mayor of New York City. And he had to get the law changed to be able to run again. Translation: "I'm important, people need me, they're not smart enough to know it, damn common sense and fair play."

He is infamous for enacting the anti-freedom smoking ban in NYC. We find it a bit strange...strike that, disgusting...that he would seek  enactment of  the anti-freedom, you will submit, no smoking laws upon the citizens of New York City similar to what Hitler did in 1930's & 1940's Germany. He's Jewish, you understand. And Hitler slaughtered millions of Jews. That's a bad thing. Remember that from your history books? We hope so.

And just like Hitler, Bloomberg and his anti-freedom thugs won approval of a no-smoke law in New York City via lies, deceit, dogma, drama, and intimidation. Like Hitler, Bloomberg found others like himself who need enforced drama and who disdain common sense and individual liberties.  And he knew he had those under his rule (NYC employees who needed their salaries to feed their families) to enforce tyranny. And if people in New York City should have the audacity to not submit to Bloomberg and his anti-freedom thugs? They'll be fined, or put out of business, and we suspect even eventually jailed.

For ooooooooh, horrors! Smoooooooooking. In America.

So we're comparing Michael Bloomberg to Adolph Hitler and other authoritarian thugs? That right? In this context we are.

Now, Bloomberg wants smoking outlawed in public parks, beaches, boardwalks, pedestrian plazas, and other public places. It has nothing to do with protecting the collective health of a populace. It never did. It's all about keeping the drama going. Like drug addicts who can't seem to stop from injecting a false sense of drama and enlightenment into their veins, even to their own demise, Bloomberg and his anti-freedom pals can't seem to stop themselves either. Even if it means freedom and liberty being outlawed in New York City. But he doesn't seem to care.

He said, in an October, 2010 Reuters article, that people outside within 3 feet of a smoker can be exposed to the same levels of second-hand smoke to those indoors. Michael Bloomberg is a bold-faced liar. We know it, we suspect he knows it, and now the whole world knows it. As if they didn't already.

He also said, in the same article, that research showed 65 percent of New Yorkers in favor of such a ban (outlawing freedom), and that if people do not obey the new law the city's Parks Department would issue a violation summons. Translation: "We're zealots. Outlawing freedom makes us feel good. You will obey us and submit to tyranny. Or you will be punished."

Like all zealots, he has put forth a slanted poll as truth. No surprise there. That's what zealots do, they lie. And Bloomberg will send out his storm-troopers to enforce submission upon citizens and visitors to New York City. And if Bloomberg's minions don't enforce his crap? We suspect they'll be fired or punished, and hence not be able to support their families. You know, just like Hitler controlled his nazi minions. Or the workers will demand under-the-table payments from business owners to not enforce the no-smoke ordinances.

Michael Bloomberg manifests a disrespect for the rule of law. That's bad for all of us. He's out of control.

Go to his webiste: www.MikeBloomberg.com. You'll see lots and lots of pictures of him, and you'll read about all the money he's given to individuals and organizations. Nothing wrong with making a ton of money and giving a lot of it away to help people. Heck no. That's a good thing. Big problem though: At the same time, along with all the pictures of his smiling face and his being pictured alongside children, it isn't noted that Bloomberg is demanding tyranny and anti-freedom rule be thrust upon the citizens of (and visitors to) New York City.

They gave all for freedom. Not tyranny.

Here's what matters, nothing else: Ours went to war and gave all so that their loved ones might live free. So that we might live free. So that they might have lived free had they been lucky enough to return home alive from battle.

Michael Bloomberg doesn't appear to care about any of that. He has metaphorically spit on their graves. Too harsh? We don't think so.

We find him disgusting. The best thinking, the best writing, the best advancements in technology, the most enlightened and content societies are borne from freedom, not tyranny or authoritarian rule. But he doesn't seem to care. Because it's all about drama with Bloomberg, even if the casualties of his arrogance and ego are freedom and liberty.

Aside: Why have we put him here at the bottom when he's so obviously one of the most infamous anti-freedom zealots listed on this page? Simple answer: He has an unhealthy need for attention. He got it here, but not above all as we think he'd prefer.
